EPUB Support

ePUB files can now be analyzed and searched like any other document. More on ePub on Wikipedia.
Update Checking on All Platforms

LumiFind can now check for updates on every supported operating system and lets you know when a new version is available.
Automatic Updater for Windows
Windows users now benefit from a full automatic updater. Other platforms will follow later. In case of small changes, the auto updater will download only the changed files and apply them automatically.
More Privacy Controls

You now decide how LumiFind handles preview images.
- Thumbnail generation during analysis can be enabled or disabled.
- You choose whether the app accesses the original file or works only with thumbnails during preview
- And whether to display or hide the thumbnail to increase privacy.
Keyboard Shortcuts
New shortcuts for common actions make it easier to navigate and operate LumiFind without touching the mouse.

Localization Improvements
Translations across several languages have been updated and corrected.
US and UK English
We separated them. There is no dramatic reason. We simply did it because why not.
Email Attachment Processing
Email attachments can now be indexed and analyzed, expanding the range of searchable content. As always, you can disable if you want to skip them.
Enhanced Console Mode
The console interface has been improved to guide you more clearly from the start, making non-graphical use smoother. Console mode is available on Linux and macOS. It also gives a hint on how the API mode can be used. This will be documented soon.

Backer Credits
Kickstarter supporters with the “Name in Credits” addon are now listed in the About window. If you backed that tier, you might want to check your name there. It is now part of LumiFind's history.
Updated Dependencies
Core components have been upgraded for better performance and compatibility.
Minor Bug Fixes
Small issues across the app have been resolved to improve stability.
