Another version of LumiFind is out: 1.3. This release focuses on stability, usability, and better control during analysis. It may look like a smaller update on the surface, but it smooths out many rough edges and adds quality-of-life improvements both in the UI and CLI.

Summary: LumiFind 1.3 adds 3GP video format, improves logging, adds pause and resume controls, refines scoring behavior, and makes indexing safer and more predictable. It also includes localization improvements and several fixes that make long-running analyses more comfortable to manage.

New File Format

3GP files are now recognized as video, allowing them to be analyzed and searched like other video formats

If you archived moments years ago on older phones or recorded everyday life back when 3GP was the norm, those files are no longer forgotten. LumiFind can now analyze and search these videos just like any modern format, making it possible to rediscover old memories and moments you thought were lost.

Pause and Resume

You can now pause and resume analysis at any time.

Available in both the GUI and CLI versions. On CLI version, use "p" as shortcut to pause and "r" to resume.

This is especially useful for large libraries or when you want to temporarily free up system resources. Or maybe you want to shutdown your computer and continue analysis later.

Improvements

• Default image batch size is now set to 5 to reduce timing and performance issues
• Improved visual indicators, including clearer emojis for files being processed
• Validation improvements ensure score limits behave as expected
• Folder selection buttons are automatically disabled while indexing is running or paused to prevent accidental state changes
• Updated dependencies to the latest versions

Fixes

• Logging behavior adapts correctly when paused, so no misleading progress output is shown
• Fixed minimum score handling and clarified its wording across the UI
• Fixed missing and incorrect strings in different localizations
• Minor UI behavior fixes related to indexing state and progress output
