LumiFind Gets Another Update. Yes that quick!

Since the early release, things have been moving fast. Your feedback made it clear where LumiFind needed to grow, so we focused on improving the workflow, making analysis more flexible, and smoothing out small rough edges. Below is a look at what has changed so far and why these updates matter.
TL;DR
- Excluded folder support added. If a subfolder is excluded, LumiFind will not crawl into it
- Per-file tracking added. Useful when you want to track and analyze a file located outside your main folders
- Custom model support added. You can now add publicly available Hugging Face models in the Settings window
- Documentation structure is almost complete (contents may still need update). Can be accessed under: https://docs.midilli.tech/books/lumifind-user-guide
- Log export added. Helpful for checking what went wrong or reviewing the full processing flow
- Option to automatically create logs (can be enabled from Settings)
- New button to open the containing folder of the selected item in the results
- Dutch, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese localizations added. Let us know if you notice errors since we are not native speakers
- Troubleshooting helper added to the license manager. It copies the relevant system info to your clipboard. Send us the clipboard content together with a short description when requesting support
- Faster and more accurate incremental file analysis
- General code improvements
- Fixed automatic interface language detection on macOS and Linux
- Various other minor fixes
More Control Over What Gets Indexed
We added support for excluding folders. If there is a subfolder you don't want LumiFind to touch, simply exclude it and the crawler will stay out of it. This gives you much finer control over what becomes part of your searchable space.
Track Files Outside Your Main Folders
Not everything lives neatly inside your chosen folders. Per-file tracking now lets you add individual files from anywhere on your system. If a file sits in a completely different location but you still want LumiFind to analyze and follow changes, now you can.
Bring Your Own AI Models

A highly requested (and promised) feature: custom model support. You can now add publicly available models from Hugging Face directly through the Settings window. This opens the door for experimentation and allows power users to tailor LumiFind's understanding to their own use cases.
Better Insight With Log Exports
When something behaves unexpectedly, having proper diagnostic information helps. Log export lets you see exactly what happened during analysis or indexing. And if you decide to ask for support, being able to attach the logs makes the process faster for both sides.
You can also enable automatic log creation in Settings if you prefer LumiFind to collect this information proactively.
Small But Useful Workflow Improvements

We added a button to open the containing folder of any selected result. It sounds tiny, but it streamlines the "find something and go to its original location" loop significantly. Many of you will find it useful :-).
Expanded Language Support
LumiFind now speaks Dutch, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese. We're not native speakers, so if you notice translation mistakes or wording that feels off, letting us know would help a lot. Improving localization is an ongoing goal.
Easier Troubleshooting When You Need Help

The license manager now includes a troubleshooting helper. It gathers the essential diagnostic info from your machine and copies it to your clipboard. When contacting support, just paste the clipboard content along with a short description of the issue. No digging, no searching. Of course, no file contents or whatsoever. Only information needed to help you.
Performance And Stability Gains
Incremental file analysis is now faster and more accurate. There are also several code-level optimizations, a fix for automatic interface language detection on macOS and Linux, and a collection of minor improvements across the app.
